The GP1 Biokork grips by Ergon offer the same popular design and comfort as the GP1, but with the added feel of natural cork. These grips weigh 182g per pair.What makes Biokork special? Well, cork has unique qualities that make it antibacterial and hypoallergenic. It also has natural damping qualities, making it an excellent grip material. Additionally, cork is lightweight, resulting in a lighter grip overall.The Biokork grips are made with 40% cork, sourced from sustainable forests in Portugal. This cork is certified for its ecologically sound production. In line with their commitment to sustainability, Ergon has also used natural fibre to reinforce the plastic inner core of the grip, making up 40% of its mass. Furthermore, instead of mineral oil, the gel in the palm section of the grip is vegetable oil-based. All of these eco-friendly features are a result of Ergon's ""GreenLab"" initiative.
