The Synthesis Enduro - 29 Boost Shimano by Crankbrothers is the first tuned carbon wheel system designed specifically for enduro riding and racing. With front and rear specific wheels, this system is optimized to meet the performance requirements and loads of mountain biking.The front wheel is compliantly tuned to improve handling and enhance grip and control in turns. It features a wider inner rim width that supports a wider tire profile, adding volume and increasing the contact patch. This also helps to round the tire profile, improving turning ability.On the other hand, the rear wheel is stiffly tuned to support peak loads and enhance stability and tracking at high speeds. It has a narrower inner rim width, promoting a narrower tire profile. This improves rolling resistance and sharpens the tire edge for better grip.The specifications of this wheel system include a 17º engagement, ETRTO measurements of 585mm for 27.5" wheels and 622mm for 29" wheels, and the use of Synthesis Standard hubs. The inner rim width is 31.5mm for the front wheel and 29.5mm for the rear wheel, while the outer rim width is 37.5mm for the front and 36.5mm for the rear. The rim height is 18mm, and the front wheel has 28 spokes while the rear has 32. The spokes used are Sapim D-Light for the front wheel and Sapim Race for the rear.This wheel system is backed by a lifetime warranty for the rim only. The weight per set is 1845g for 27.5" wheels and 1905g for 29" wheels.
