This headset uses 1 ½ tapered bearings, however it uses an 1 ¼ lower race to fit the Kinesis RTDs narrow fork steerer. This headset offers a solution to anyone needing to fit an 1 ¼ tapered fork, such as a Lauf Grit, to one of our Kinesis frames.
The lower headset race is also available as a spare.
