The Arione R3 from Fi'zi:k is designed for The Snake: Flexible Spine. If you have very good spinal flexibility (less than 90 degrees between your straight legs and your back when bending over as far as you can, with your legs straight and shoulders' width apart), then you are a Snake. You can achieve the performance position using your spinal flexibility alone, without rotating your pelvis at all. You will appreciate the flat, narrow, and long shape of the Arione. The shell is made of Carbon Thermoplastic Composite with Wing Flex, allowing freedom of thigh movement. The rail is made of fi'zi:k kium, and the cover is made of Microtex. The Arione R3 also features thigh glides made of Microtex and an Integrated Clip System. The length of the saddle is 275mm. The width is available in two options: 142mm (regular) and 152mm (large). The weight of the regular version is 200g, while the large version weighs 205g.
