The Downhill Rim with a Suit of Armour.
The DHi mountain bike rim is our strongest rim. Based on the same Innegra construction as our 9i trail and enduro rims, we've created a downhill rim that is even stronger to cope with the toughest downhill courses. The combination of strength and low weight also makes the DHi rim ideal for hard-hitting enduro applications.
The DHi rim is waiting to be built into a world-class wheelset, ready to shrug off hits on the most technical trails around. Thanks to the addition of Innegra, the DHi rim is incredibly strong, compliant, and lightweight.
The DHi rim is available in both 29"" and 27.5"".
Redefining Carbon Wheels.
By using TeXtreme® Innegra in the layup of our rims, we've developed a range of rims that have 75% higher impact resistance than standard carbon rims of the same profile*. The DHi rims are significantly more resistant to wear and tear and less prone to catastrophic failure. In rim-only impact tests, these rims are able to withstand impacts up to a whopping 180 Joules!
Our Innegra™ equipped rims also have 50% more vertical compliance than standard carbon rims**. As a result, they exhibit high energy absorption and superior vibration damping, with none of the harsh stiffness associated with carbon. These are carbon rims that have the sought-after ride characteristic of a premium alloy wheelset.

Please Note:
These Rims are front and rear specific. Due to different spoke bracing angles of front and rear wheels, the drilling angle differs between front and rear rims. If buying a set, please order one Front and one Rear Rim.
Protect Your Rims.
We strongly recommend the use of a tire insert (preferably the lightweight Tyre Invader from Effetto Mariposa) when using our carbon rims. These can greatly reduce the impact to the rim and allow you to roll out of the trail in the event of a flat tire, without damaging the rim.
